- Purpose
- Remembers the language you chose, so the site is not reset to English on every visit.
- Kept for
- Until you clear your browser storage.
- Why it is allowed
- Strictly necessary to honour a preference you set yourself.
dh.consent
- Where

- Purpose
- Remembers the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again on every visit.
- Kept for
- 6 months, after which we ask again; or until you clear your browser storage.
- Why it is allowed
- Strictly necessary to record and honour your choice.
dh.age_v1
- Where

- Purpose
- Remembers that you told us you are 13 or older, so we do not ask before every rating, upvote or wish. Only ever written for a yes — a no is not stored.
- Kept for
- Until you clear your browser storage.
- Why it is allowed
- Strictly necessary to apply the age requirement before we store anything you submit.
dh_anon_id_v1
- Where
- localStorage
- Purpose
- A local, untrusted identifier used only in the read-only preview, where live writing is unavailable.
- Kept for
- Until you clear your browser storage.
- Why it is allowed
- Not used at all when live ratings and upvotes are available.
_ga, _ga_<property>
- Where
- Cookies
- Purpose
- Google Analytics 4: how many people visit, which games they play and which pages they read.
- Kept for
- Up to two years, as set by Google.
- Why it is allowed
- Your consent. Never set before you accept, and removed when you withdraw.
How to change your choice
Analytics only ever starts after you accept it. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time, or clear this site's data in your browser settings, which removes every item in the table above.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not follow you across other sites. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off and we do not ask again.
